back. mr. obama and the first lady spent the morning visiting burrville elementary school in dc, helping out by filling book shelves and talking to volunteers at the school. this year, as it has been since 2009 when president obama first took office, the administration is trying to expand the concept of volunteerism. fox 5's john hanrahan was at the national mall and is now in the newsroom with the story. >> reporter: i've been wondering what the enormous white tent is at the corner of 14th street and the mall. i'm told it is a staging area. today, it was indoor part of the inauguration. thousands of people were invited inside the tent to consider making a commitment to volunteerism. ♪ >> reporter: yolanda adams made her pitch with a song. ♪ i'm going to do my part, yeah! ♪ >> reporter: chelsea clinton personally visited a booth to help the youngsters there write letters to sick children. and actress eva longoria appealed to a crowd of thousands to help improve the nation by volunteering. >> make a difference in one child's life. mentor a student. donate a book to a librar

think obama has papered over that for the last four years. but i think that's going to change here in the next few years. the first issue where i think we'll see a conversation on this is the question of entitlements. there are some folks in the democratic party who are happy to have a conversation on issues like the eligibility age for medicare. other democrats like sherrod brown, the senator from ohio, i talked to, they say hell, no, we are not going to have a conversation about that. that is core to our dna, and we're not going to move on that. >> j-mart, last time republicans had an internal debate about a lot of these issues, a lot of folks divided the party. you mention smd moderaed some m coming over to the democratic party. do you see a contentious primaries in the future for the 2014 midterms? >> well, look. i don't think you're going to see the sort of club-for-growth-style conservative on moderate attacks that you see in the gop. i think you're going to see some of that. keep in mind, the primary story began '06 when joe lieberman in connecticut faced a threat from his l

, one trillion in cuts reach aid year ago in budget negotiations, meaning no savings they're in the bank. two, it counts $800 billion in savings and debt payments from spending cuts. that is a dubis claim, three, obama counting a nearly $1 rilin savings from more money nobody expected to be spent anyway. now that the war with iraq is over and afghanistan war is winding down. so obama's premise that we need to balanced approach to cutting the deficit and huge fiction which in a plan will cut $4 trilin in the next decade, it will do no such thing. he is basing his argument on a falsehood which is what he's done is lie, distort. and what this showed us is that obama in the second term is going to be worse than obama in the first term. what we saw in one hour was the worst of our president on display. and republicans, they need to understand all of this dealing with obama. a man reckless, ruthless, and any president they will ever encounter. my next guess says he has a plan that will bolster the republicans plan. ohio senator is with us, how are you? >> great. >> sean: first, what do you mak
